Battery Disposal Instructions
As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and in compliance with legal regulations, we wish to inform you about battery disposal and recycling.
If you purchase batteries or devices containing batteries from us, please be aware that as an end user, you are legally obligated to properly dispose of used batteries. Batteries should not be discarded with regular household waste due to their potential environmental harm.
For your convenience, you can return used batteries to us for free. Batteries that we currently sell or have sold in the past can be sent back to our warehouse (Tinkerly GmbH, Karl-Fischer-Weg 3K, 12169 Berlin) for proper disposal.
Please note the following symbols on batteries:
The crossed-out garbage can symbol indicates that the battery should not be thrown away with household waste.
- 'Pb' means the battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead.
- 'Cd' means the battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium.
- 'Hg' means the battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury.
We encourage you to follow these guidelines to aid in environmental preservation.
