8A DC/DC Step Down Converter, 7-40V Input to 1-35V Output, XLSEMI XL4016 Buck Converter

This 300W 8A Buck Converter uses two XLSEMI XL4016 voltage regulators to reduce input voltages from 7 - 40 V to adjustable output voltages between 1 and 35 Volts. The large heat sinks enables high output currents of up to 9A max. and a limiting output of 300W. The second trimmer on the board is used to set up the current limit.

Turning the potentiometer clockwise will increase the set value. The output voltage can be set with the potentiometer on the input voltage side. The second potentiometer sets the current limit. The status LED indicates constant current (CC) red and constant voltage (CV) green.

Please note that this is a step-down regulator. This means the input voltage needs to be higher than the desired output. The voltage regulator has a high efficiency of up to 95%.
