The BME280 module is a high performance sensor with which the altitude can be measured with a precision of up to ± 1 m. It is a drop-in replacement of the known BMP085, BMP180 und BMP183 sensors with enhanced sensors and connectivity.
Besides the pressure sensor, the module has an integrated temperature sensor with a precision of ± 1°C and a humidity sensor with a measurement deviation of just ±3%.
The sensor has been calibrated and can be used out of the box.
