This charger is made for single cell Li-ion batteries which are charged with 4.2 V. The TP4056 chipset is a constant-voltage/constant-current charger.
The on-board DW01 battery protection IC disconnects the battery on overcurrent, overcharge and on overdischarge.
A full charge is detected as soon as the current drops below 100 mA. The charging is automatically terminated by the TP4056.
