Touch Sensor Keyboard, 4x3 Matrix, 12 Buttons, MPR121

The Capacitive Touch Keypad has 12 touch pads which can be accessed via I2C. The on-board MPR121 touch controller makes it very easy to control this keypad and it makes sure you only need 2 or 3 pins of your microcontroller board.

The keypad is designed for 3.3V and has an interrupt output (IRQ) which triggers when a button has been touched. By using this interrupt line you don't have to query the keypad all the time. Just set up an interrupt line on e.g. your Arduino and communicate to the MPR121 on this keypad as soon as IRQ triggers.
